Hello everybody!
How are you? I hope, you're great, because I
am. And I want to share it with you! At the moment I am just in such a good
place. Yes, I have a lot to do with my Bachelor Thesis and applying for jobs,
but I am also really motivated. I try to get up between 7:30 and 8 every
morning, start the day with some stretching and yoga and then have breakfast. I
really recommend you to read a little bit into Ayurveda and how healthy it is
to get up early. It will give you so much more energy than this false assumption
of sleeping long into the day. Even if you aren't an early bird, try it, you
will get used to it and love it. You will be so much more energetic. And I also
highly recommend to start the day with some yoga or whatever you prefer. I want
to try running some time. But at the moment I am more into yoga because I can
do it at home. Then when you're fully awake and hungry, have some breakfast.
Muesli, yoghurt, fruit, juices, green tea, smoothies...
And here are some nice smoothie combinations for you:

Tell me if you tried any of these and enjoyed
them, please! What are your favourite smoothie combinations? Do you prefer
green or fruity smoothies? Have you ever tried fruit-induced water? I've only
tried it with grapefruit and lemon and really enjoyed it. It is very important
to always drink at least 2 litres a day. Healthy drinks are smoothies, water
obviously, tea, juices and some dairy drinks. Take a look at my older post Checkpoint: springtime http://touristjen.blogspot.de/2016/03/checkpoint-springtime.html
for more information about healthy drinks. There is also such a wide variety of
all natural juices without added sugar. Have you ever tried tomato juice,
carrot-orange juice, vegetable juice or one of my favourites: sauerkraut
juice!! I know, it sounds really odd, but try it, you will be surprised how
tasty it is. And it is definitely one of the most natural and best ways to help
you detox your body.
I also go to the gym three times a week. I try to just exercise on my own twice and go to one class, like Pilates for example. Especially after sports and in summer you should drink a lot, between 2 and 3 litres minimum, and don't forget to warm up and stretch afterwards.
Healthy living has a lot of factors. Inner balance, sports, a good nutrition, a mind at peace and good sleep. Don't sleep too long, don't sleep too short. Put your phone, laptop, TV, tablet, whatever, away one hour before going to sleep. Use that time to read a book, listen to an audio book or some music, do some more yoga, just relax. Use your bed only to sleep in. Don't spend your free time chilling in your bed, it will seriously lessen the quality of your sleep. In order to prepare your body and mind for a good night's sleep, you need a routine. Come home, change into some cosy clothes, have a shower, eat dinner, drink a cup of tea (no black tea or coffee), put your media and displays away, read and go to bed with the window open for a lot of fresh air and oxygen. Stop thinking about everything you didn't manage to do today. Write it down beforehand, keep a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly to-do list. Include rewards. And always keep a tidy workplace and peaceful atmosphere.
